The second daughter of Yukio Togawa, a well-known animal novelist.
Rewrote her father’s animal literatures to children books and make expository writing of them. 
Established Tiger Conservation Fund in 1997. The director of Japan Wildlife Conservation Society (1999-2009.10).

Masayuki Sakamoto

A lawyer, and secretariat of the Committee on Research for conservation of habitat of Iriomote cat (Prionailurus bengalensis iriomotensis) (2009-), the Chairperson of the Committee of Environment Protection of the Daini-Tokyo Bar Association (2005-2006) and the Secretary General and director of Japan Wildlife Conservation Society(1993-2009.10). Filed some lawsuits for the right of nature for various wild species including wild geese (Anser fabalis middendorffii).

A lawyer, and the representative of Forest’ Breese Law Office in Tokyo, the Chairperson of the Committee of Environment Protection of the Daini-Tokyo Bar Association (2008-2009), the former Vice President of the Daini-Tokyo Bar Association (2005).
Filed some lawsuits for the right of nature for various wild species including wild geese (Anser fabalis middendorffii).

The former chief researcher of the Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo (environmental education), serves a board member of various NGOs working for environmental education and environmental protection, established the network of tiger protection in Kansai area in 1998, “year of tiger”.

The Director of the Center for Wildlife Conservation and Management, Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University (wildlife zoology, veterinary science).
In countries and autonomies, has held the committees of council and other advisory boards concerning recovery of endangered species, protection & management of wild animals, control of invasive species, etc.  A member of International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN)/ Species Survival Commission (SSC)/ Conservation Breeding Specialist Group (CBSG).
